Rotating bezel stuck

I have a Marcello C Nettuno 3. The bezel seems to be hung, it won't
rotate. Could this be solved by removing the bezel and cleaning it? If
it needs a part, can it be ordered by a local watchmaker or would I
need to send it back for repairs? I know I probably am not asking the
right questions, but is this a difficult repair?

Thanks.

Usually they are easy to repair. Is it frozen, or does it feel free
but just won't rotate ?

If frozen, that'll likely be dirt, perhaps rust that seized it to the
case. Pop it off, remove the ratchet plate(if any) clean it all up,
spread a bit of grease on the sliding points and press it back on.
Some use a rubber seal to hold the bezel on, you may want to replace
that with a new one, just an 'o' ring, available from all suppliers
and lube it with silicon grease. Any watchmaker should be able to fix
that for not a lot of money.

If it is a mechanical fault that jammed it, then you will need the
guilty part. In that case, you or your watchmaker will likely have to
talk to the agent or a parts supplier. There are generic bezels
available, but that should be a last resort.

Frank, thanks for your reply. From a suggestion that I received, I
placed the watch in some hot tap water for a few minutes. I finally got
it to rotate and let the water run while I rotated the bezel. Well it
seems to rotate now, but not as smooth as it did. It will get more
difficult to rotate and then again easier. Do you think that it needs
only cleaning?

Sounds like it. A clean and lube will probably fix it.
