Discussion:
Where to find FEBA movement?

It's for an "as-is" Swiss Army GMT quartz watch with a dead movement.
The bottom plate says:

FEBA Swiss Made 2W
and
A A
7220/22/28 -A

A quick Google search turned up nothing (the way I was doing it, anyway).

I'd like to resurrect it, even if it means putting a different movement
in.

Many thanks,

7220 does indicate an FE movement, but the numbering you quote seems
strange.

See the FE 7221 here, is it anything like it ?

I belive the 7220 is discontinued now. If so, measure the height of
the movement and match up an equivalent here :
http://www.ofrei.com/page1063.html
Plate diameter, stem and hand sizes should be the same for all 72xx
movements, but the height varies.

I wonder if it's a custom job for Wenger. It's gold color, and five
jewels.

Looks like same "chassis."

Yes, the FE 7224/3 would be just the ticket, if it has a 24-hr hand, and
not a disc. No pics, so I'll have to give Frei an email; the Ronda
515.24H looks like possible alternative.

Thanks, Frank,

It is good to be back in alt.horology thanks to your talentless reply
in the other forum.I will make sure you are left alone as I explain
what an astrolabe does and how clocks and watches emerged from
astronomical origins. The next time you keep your big ignorant mouth
shut.

Thanks again.

That'll be the last time I reveal to you my appreciation of the
astrolabe, which happens to be a truly elegant instrument, regardless of
your scorn for it.

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, where can i find the watch
movement I'm seeking. Please note that it is expected to keep solar
time, not sidereal.

Perhaps it's more appropriate to settle all that shit in the other
forum, where it happened, hey ?

ps: Until St John pisses me and the others off, he isn't alone here,
you're on the right track though.
