A few pics.... the Miyota is a well made movt., and is fully equal to the
7S26 or better, and like the 6R15 can be manually wound. I noticed that
the Miyota rotor in unidirectional. Miyota is used in Invicta, Croton,
Trias, some alphas, and various other watch makes.

ASAK, IMHO Miyota is Seiko's "Private Label" selling operation.

ASAK, IMHO, BYOB, LOL, etc. etc. - Miyota is part of Citizen and has nothing
to do with Seiko.

The Miyota by Citizen gets little respect, though I feel that it is an
excellent movt. Instead of comiing out of the factory at +20 on every
watch like Seiko does, the Citizen Miyota all run on time. I was amazed
that the finish on the Miyota compared more closely with the 6R15 than
the 7S26.

The copies of this movt that alpha (Seagull?) makes look good until you
compare it to the real thing. But then, even the Chinese copies are
better than the avg Poljot.

This is precisely my experience, too.

Thank your for rather humorous righting my indeed very serious mistake:

I was referring to Seiko Epson, (amongst many other products) the watch
movement private label operation.

I seems that my journey to the year 2550 and back to 2007 has confused
me somewhat, as I also confused bees and wasps, the former stinging at
the cost of their lives, whereas the latter cowardly stinging in all
impunity.

Otherwise, I am all right, thanks. :-)
