This used to be a "nice little group" until Klaus (SWG) came here after getting canned from Waltham Watches International and had a 4-year mental-breakdown, deiving-off most serious and nice posters.

I've noticed that he's quit posting, so maybe, the old posters (including myself) will start coming back and run these "vermin" spammers off !!

Regards,
Honest John

p.s. I enjoy working on ALL kinds of watches...

You can't blame Klaus. Usenet is dying. Forums are taking over.

yes that and the ISP's don't support it like they used to, have had to
rely on an external news server since my ISP is useless, posts deleted
after a month etc.

anyway this newsgroup is dead, needs to be buried now.

I get far more interaction and info with forums these days.

My ISP just cancelled its usenet service(without reducing the fees). I
am now posting through a free server.

Please propose a good forum for me to join.

yes I had to the same a couple of years back, but the newsgroups are not
what they used to be, too many dickheads and spammers these days.
