Hi,
A long shot but worth a try:

I'd like to contact anyone with any knowledge of the early 18th
century English longcase clocks by James Woolley of Codnor,
Derbyshire. Ca 1720+.

Brian Loomes wrote an article for Clocks" magazine in Feb 1981. He
also wrote an article for "Antiques & Art Monitor" for Nov/Dec 1978. I
have copies of both magazines.

Peter England wrote an article on Woolley longcase clocks in "Clocks"
magazine in July 1993. Does anyone have a contact address or e-mail
address for Peter England please?

There was reference in this article to the author (Peter England)
having found <another two> clocks by Woolley. This suggests a previous
article to July 1993. Does anyone have access to a collection of
"Clocks" magazine for this period who can help date this earlier
article? I already have a copy of the July 1993 "Clocks" magazine
thanks.

Does anyone know of any other articles on Woolley clocks in "Clocks"
or other magazines?

I'd also be grateful for any images of Woolley longcase clocks by
e-mail. Large image files acceptable. (Your security and privacy is
assured)

Thanks

10 years late... How did you get on? I have a Wooley long case clock and wouldn't mind some background.
