Interested in dating a Meriden Pocket Watch

I have obtained a Meriden Watch Co. watch, serial #1,164,613. It is about an
18 size open face watch, keywind and keyset.
I have not been able to find a source of information on Meriden Watches that
would allow me to identify the model or the date. Anyone out there have such
information?

It's a Swiss fake probably around 1890 - 1900.

I'm sitting here surrounded by over 2 tons of antique watches etc I just bought and am looking at a Meriden right now!

I was looking at a Meriden, key wind pocket watch for sale $400.00, what is your feeling of these watches as I can not find much info? Thanks for any reply.
